Ireland Set To Defend Their Senior Home International Titles

The Irish teams have been announced ahead of the Senior Home Internationals which get underway tomorrow at Royal St. David’s Golf Club tomorrow.

Ireland will look to back up their phenomenal clean sweep of the Senior Home Internationals last year, after Ireland claimed all three of the titles on offer following a thrilling finale against England at Ferndown last year.

The Irish women were in red hot form at the Europeans recently, where they finished second in Buglaria. Tracy Eakin, Alison Taylor and Laura Webb remain, while they are joined by Nicki Currie, Gertie McMullen, Suzanne O’Brien and Deirdre Walsh.

The men’s team is made up of Karl Bornemann, Enda Brady, Alan Condren, Jody Fanagan, Kieran McCarthy, Christy O’Connor and Declan O’Neill.
