IAN POULTER A WALKER CUP PARENT
Ian Poulter has arrived at Lahinch Golf Club to support his son, Luke, who is on the GB&I Team playing in the Walker Cup this weekend.
Young Poulter has already experienced team success in Ireland this summer when he was on the winning International Team at The Arnold Palmer Cup back in July at Tralee, and he will be hoping to repeat that winning feeling.
GB&I Captain Dean Roberston already has Paul McGinley working with the team in an advisory role…..“McGinley is a former South of Ireland winner as well. He’s a successful Ryder Cup captain. He sits in the back room of Luke Donald. He’s got a wealth of knowledge. So he’s been giving us some really good pointers as well. It’s been a real collective effort.”, said Robertson.
A fun weekend lies ahead, and now another European Ryder Cup hero is on site to support GB&I.
